Burung Hantu Ride...what an experiance!

I joint Ampang Group. Only rep from TCT team. 2nd time for me to ride in
Melaka.
Last time was during daytime and this time...8pm flagoffs.

It's kind of normal for AmpangBike team to start late. I still recall
during Semuji-Sg.Lembing, they among the last team to reach the finished
line, because they started late. At Burung Hantu, same behavior. We were
the last team to start for the starting point. Organizer was about to
close the check-in counter. We then directed to use a short cut to catch
the group of bikers that started earlier.
The organizer annouced there were more than 800 bikers that night which
still less than they expected, 1200 bikers. I saw mat saleh, minah saleh,
kids, women, family etc...It was a great experiance for me to join such a
big crowd of bikers that came from all over the country and some from other
countries too.
As for the night biking...cool man! No hot sun. You don't see the dust
flying around. You cannot see exausted faces. You don't see dirt in front
and you cannot see the trail...GELAP gelita. Dalam hutan, it's grave dark!
Only place we can see lights were at the starting point and 6km road trail.
Otherwise, it's all dark, dark, dark. Kebun sayur also dark!
However, with the help from my borrowed front light (special thanks to
Fazil's cateye) and back signal light (special thanks to Bari's cateye), I
managed to complete the campaign. 5 checkpoints. Everytime I reached the
checkpoint, only drinking water available. Pisang sudah habis.
Banyak jugak downhill...some looong downhill. Mujur tak jatuh. Tapi kalau
jatuh pun, helmet yg aku pinjam dr Mr.P ada (special thanks to Zaidi for
his 661 helmet)...Ehhh...banyak sangat benda yang aku pinjam ni....
And as usual, AmpangBike member will bring back their luck
draws...see..Amir got Merida frame with RM1800...My special thanks to
AmpangBike.
